Blink dagger is an item that is purchasable at the side shop, as well as the main shop. In Dota Allstars, it was known as Kelen's Dagger.
This item gives no stats. However, it grants the user an active effect: "Blink".
Blink
Teleports the hero up to 1200 range instantly. Unusable if the hero was damaged by an enemy player controlled unit or Roshan in the last 3 seconds. Self damage does not disable Blink.
- Costs 75 mana.
- 14 second cooldown.
- Pudge and Vengeful Spirit are unable to buy this item due to balancing reasons.
Notes
- Double clicking the item will Blink the hero towards the allied fountain.
- This item is particularly effective on heroes that have powerful spells that are centered around them, particularly initiators such as Rylai or Earthshaker. It is also very effective on exclusively melee heroes such as Ursa Warrior, who doesn't have ranged abilities or stuns.
